As with most inventions, the DriveCushion came about from a personal need to relieve discomfort. Driving long distances to and from work always left us feeling tired during the day. We couldn't get work done or enjoy our time off with our friends and family, and we weren't motivated to exercise or go places. This was not a healthy way for us to live. We needed to drive more comfortably and find something ergonomic to help us, a cushion that could lift and shift the body. We needed a drive cushion that alternated pressure points on the coccyx muscles and helped the blood to circulate through the leg veins so we wouldn't feel tired.

Drive Cushion works, and lasts.

We set to work creating and testing various prototypes of what would become the FlowCushion for home and office. As we noticed our comfort level increase at work, we realized this device could benefit people suffering similar problems. In particular, people who suffer discomfort from driving. A second prototype for the car was made, with a cigarette lighter adapter, and that became DriveCushion.
